in Credit cards
At present I have
£2,300 on a natwest credit card that is just about to expire from it's % deal to 16%
£2,500 on a cahoot loan that has just gone from 7.6% to 14% owch!
£50 on my husbands natwest credit card at % for another 2 months with a £3000 available limit
My plan is to shift the £2500 from the cahoot loan onto my husbands credit card thus making it % for another 2 months, and then shop around for the best % deal to merge the 2 cards or the best life of balance card to get a cheap loan.
Natwest have given me loads of info on % for another year for balance transfers but I dont think I can pay off my cahoot loan under this deal, plus there would be a balance transfer fee.
So I just need to know that I'm doing the right think by getting out of my cahoot loan by using my credit card, and then does anyone have any advice about with % card/ or life of balance card I should go for?
Awaiting loads of brilliant suggestions, Thanks

Mmmm,
There is only two months left on you OH card wouldn't you incur a fee if you BT £2500 to it.In two months time when the 0% finishes you'll have to pay again to move it to another card or incur the Nat Wests higher interest charges.
I would pay the £50 off and wait,a couple of weeks before the 0% ends phone up customer services and ask for the customer retention department and ask if they can extend the 0% offer to say 9months at 0%,they will probably say no and give you six months .If you don't ask you don't get.
I have had 36 months at 0% with A&L everytime the offer ends I ask for another one.It helps if you pay of the outstanding amount each time.
I would move the Nat West £2300 to a LOB card or a new 0% card as this is the card with the highest interest.
Then do the same for the cahoot card.Make sure you pay more than the minimum amount each month .
Good luck.Previously known as Bokken, registered at MSE in Nov 04,computer glich deleted my access but it is fun building up my stars from scratch,again.:D0
