What Are My Rights - Cancelled Van Hire - What do i do next??? Help!!

on the 30th May i booked a van through selfdrivevehiclehire.co.uk.
my booking was confirmed and a payment of £138 for the van plus a £400 deposit (£538 in total) was taken on my debit card for the van to be used on the 14th June.
On the 11th June the company emailed me to say they could no longer provide the van i had booked. I have subsequently emailed and phoned the company on numerous occasions asking when i can expect to receive my money back. they have assured mt my refund has been processed and would have been back in my account initially by the 18th june, this obviously didnt occur, they then promised by the following week wednesday 25th june but still no money has appeared.
Can anyone help advise me what my rights are - who can i refer this to? what is my next step in trying to recouperate my money?
any advice would be welcome - many thanks

Initiate a chargeback through your bank, phone them, explain whats happened and they will look to recover it for you.0
