Google Earth Address Problem

When I try to "Find My House " it ignores the house name and just comes up with businesses in the area ?
As I'm trying to locate a house I have to visit with a picture of it this is isn't much help.
The postcode only gives an area of the road and there is no number for the house.
What else can I do? Any help please.

If i put my address and then click search i then have to zoom in. i can also go onto street view and see my house clearly
apologies just re read you do not have a house number. but if you have a picture of the house can you use street view?

The postcode only covers a few houses on each street. Just go to the postcode and zoom in on the doors to find out where your named house is.

Both our last and current house simply shows up as a building site. Until recently our new house had the very large detached property and grounds that used to occupy the site still showing which was replaced by the row of 9 terraced houses

At least you have something that vaguely is right
