Thank you all for your replies...we do understand the privacy issue, hence our intentions for solid sides and a roof. The other side looks on to open countryside and will remain open.
If the council asks for drawings I'm thinking of giving them my son's which included three bedrooms and a swimming pool!
Do find it ludicrous that you have to go through the same procedure as if you were building a house or an extension though...0 -
Ah, that 'Elf and Safety' brigade and the likes that have come in over the years.
Be prepared for them to be asking were the fire escape will be and the 2 doors between the kitchen and bathroom ! ( joking ! )0
