Proof of deposit - 2 months history?

So.
SO and I are buying our first flat together, mortgage approved but they want 2 months proof of building up mortgage...what?
Deposit amount: £5950
Our savings account has had £4k in it for the longest time. £600 came from SO's current account, £400 came from my cash drawer, and the other £950 was given to us by our parents.
What do I need to give them?

Give them copies of the statements showing where the funds have come from. It's part of the money-laundering regulations, so they need to have proof that the funds have been acquired by you legally.0
