Mortgage Broker Wickersley/Rotherham

Hi All,

looking for mortgage advisor in Wickersley/Rotherham area. Remortgaging and not happy with Santander (current lender) whose valuation puts us into the 80% plus LTV rather than the 75 to 80% band.

Hoping a broker can get a more accurate valuation or am i barking up the wrong tree as all lenders use the same valuation system?

The valuation is done by the lender's contractor based on the lender's criteria. A different lender may well result in a different valuation, but the valuation would still be instructed by the lender rather than the broker.

That said, a broker is probably the best way to find the best mortgage for you.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the area. I was very pleased with Charles Cameron & Co., who are based in London, but they normally charge £500 (we got the fee waived as they have a commercial relationship with my employer). There are many fees-free brokers around.
