Strange, I thought you supported the Conservative party whose very existence is totally dependent upon a selfish electorate with these values.0 -
Strange, I thought you supported the Conservative party whose very existence is totally dependent upon a selfish electorate with these values.
Their whole existence also depends on the cynical application of double standards and a mind numbing level of hypocrisy, when it suits their purpose.
Still rolling rolling rolling......

Don't get me started on that one... and which party was it that came up with the idea of 52% income tax (don't forget the 2% uncapped tax masquerading as NI)
Still, soft target eh, the 1%...0 -
I'm no fan of PDL companies (never been a customer before anyone asks) but how are these fake law firm letters worse than those produced by DCAs and even high street banks?
I know the DCA/High street bank lawyers do technically exist but they simply use their name under license, the actual law firms have basically nothing to do with it.
Shouldn't that be banned too?0 -

Wrong again, unless Labour voters are richer.Poor OFFICIALLY pay higher tax rate than rich as "we’re all in this together" mantra exposed as lie
The Tory mantra that “we’re all in this together” was officially exposed today as an appalling lie.
Toffs David Cameron and George Osborne have been spouting their catchphrase while forcing poor people to pay more tax than the rich.
Official figures show that the least well off households have been coughing up 36.6% of their income to the Treasury.
But the wealthiest have been paying less – 35.5%.
The Office for National Statistics, which released the report, partly blamed the tax scandal on millionaire Mr Osborne’s controversial decision to raise VAT to 20% in January 2011.0 -
It seems that Wonga isn't the only one who plays these dirty tricks"High street banks are using Wonga-style bullying letters to chase customers for payments.
Barclays, Lloyds, Halifax, RBS and HSBC are among firms who have sent customers letters that look like they are from outside firms when they are not.
Energy giant Scottish Power and Anglian Water, which supplies families in the East of England, are also using the letters."
And the Guardian reported a government agency, the Student Loans Company, was upto the same naughtiness:
"The Student Loans Company is facing calls to compensate more than 300,000 graduates sent [between 2005 and 2014] misleading "Wonga-style" debt collection letters."0 -
Why does this make any difference?0
