I just need to check with my lawyer whether I can speak with the newspaper......oh wait, I don't have a lawyer....."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0

If the debts were paid back in time, then there would be no additional charges - whether real or fiction

Surely nobody would ever do that. How very dishonest."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -
Definitely. Get a claim in!even though i've never taken out a pay day loan with Wonga am i eligible for the compensation?"Facism arrives as your friend. It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... [it] doesn't walk in saying, "our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."0 -
Why should non payers get any handout. If there is some money coming from Wonga, it should be applied to the arrears of the PDL and not given to the borrowers in cash.
You can bet your life that the majority of those getting the £50 will not be using it to reduce their arrears.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
The wording in the opening post is not ideal, the £50 is not a refund of anything that has been paid. Why should non payers get any handout. If there is some money coming from Wonga, it should be applied to the arrears of the PDL and not given to the borrowers in cash.
You can bet your life that the majority of those getting the £50 will not be using it to reduce their arrears.
If you owe Wonga money it will be offset against the debt not returned in cash.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Any chance of taking out legal action v Wonga for their outrageous behaviour ?0

Come on Martin,
Any chance of a legal action v Wonga (for their fake letters) - they should not be allowed to get away with a smack on their wrist0
