Hi all, I have a euro mortgage for our home in france with UCB, now BNP Paribas and for some reason it just didn't occur to me before now to wonder if we might have paid PPI on it. Is there a way to check
Thanks and sorry if this question has been asked and answered before - having claimed on my other PPI payments right at the start of this sorry chapter in banking - I felt a bit smug and in the clear - can't believe I didn't think to check this

Uk mortgages have PPI as a standalone direct debit paid monthly from your current account (one of the reasons why most MPPI complaints fail).
You would have to see what they do in France. That also assumes that the French regulator has taken a dislike to the sales process of some firms in France and has acted in the same way to the UK regulator.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I've seen nothing about insurance mis-selling in France. It's generally regarded as a UK banking problem only.0
