Barclaycard changeover - old mastercard not cancelled...

Just having a bit of a rant really, I have contacted Barclaycard via their online transaction query thing so sure they will be in touch tomorrow, but annoyed!
Checked my online statement, which I do every few days. As with everyone else, I had the original cashback mastercard which has now been switched over to the Amex & Visa cards.
New cards arrived end May, duly destroyed mastercard & it was showing as cancelled on my account, however someone has managed to get hold of my details & make a purchase 3 days ago using my allegedly cancelled card!:mad:
As a side note, anyone else finding that since the changeover, transactions are taking longer to appear on accounts? Would usually appear on there the following day but finding it's taking 3 days to show up online?

I think this is just the Amex transactions. Its the same on the Lloyds and TSB cards. It seems to show on Barclays'/Lloyd's/TSB's systems the day after the transaction has completed on American Express's system.0 -

I understand the 'old' card is still valid for 30 days from the date of the May statement although the card no longer appears on my online a/c (just the two new ones.0
