Oh that's great:T. (I have seen it before but just responding on the second occasion.) I have 5% cashback on my bank account with Argos at the mo. Sadly 5% of £1.99 is a very small amount:rotfl:. Trouble is I don't spend much in the first place:D:rotfl::rotfl:.

How are things on that front now?

Hi Qoc, still separated but we are seeing each other. Still have issues with her son, but at least my wife is having nothing to do with her parents who were causing most of the problems. When we meet up, it's like were dating again. :)

I feel all refreshed after my afternoon nap. My brother has been clearing 30 years worth of crap out of the loft and found some little photos that my great aunt took in the 20s, 30s and one from 1918. Definitely no mistaking where I come from, I look a lot like my great grandparents! Also found some photos of South End, Crouch End and Ally Pally (before it burnt down) from 1928-9. Does anyone know of a way to upload them without using a scanner as mine is on the fritz? Was thinking about taking photos of them, but I don't think it will do them justice as a few are quite faded.

I love these glimpses into the past:T

Is it worth trying Prontoprint for something a bit more professional...or Staples.....ooh are staples still going:rotfl:

:rotfl: yes they're still going. Hmmm I have until September when my aunt flies over from Florida. My granddad gave them to my dad in the 80s and told him to burn them all  but my dad stashed them in the loft instead. Too many family feuds :rotfl:

Hi everyone, I've not been about for a while. Not had much time recently as I started a new job and I'm still in the process of buying a bigger house for my expanding family. We should be moving in the next couple of weeks.

A quick question if anyone can help me please?

My DW paid a big cheque for our house purchase into her bank account instead of our joint account by mistake today. The cheque was made out to me and not her but was accepted by the cashier, will it bounce?

    Thanks,
    Sad_Dad

id check if she is still upstairs :D

    edited and hide her passport

sorry sd could not resist. :)
