Apart from that a good day - what have you all been up to?
"The challenge" from P90X3 30mins of pull ups and push ups, walked the dogs and some Yoga to de-stress
Then the delivery man from A turned up - quite like him - he's got a geordie accent so I get my fix of the local twang :rotfl::D A quid for delivery definitely beats the cost in petrol to get to our local
Beautiful Scotland

I am bitten all over, arms and shoulders including 2 huge lumps on the backs of my legs that came up this afternoon - not even been gardening this afternoon.
I am going to try the anti histamines someone suggested yesterday but I might resort to a pain killer tonight - will ibubrofen do any good do you think or a paracemomol.
Tired my usual aloe vera on the affected areas but its not helped much, also ice cubes and OHs lidocaine cream
(excuse spelling)
I feel yr pain I get bitten all the time, I just savlon to take itch away or to stop getting bitten use Avon so soft spray but I have ran out :mad:0 -

Then we had dinner in Ikea before getting embroiled in the usual nighmare of M6 traffic, coming off the motorway to find a closed road and ending up doing a 50 mile round trip detour
We must have been in Ikea at the same time! (if it was Warrington)
Unplanned stop after going to Preston to clean (with son) last years accommodation, non of the other occupants would come & help:mad:
Left having spent only a few £s:)0 -

Thanks folks - I've obviously got to catch up again as no idea what this is about:rotfl:.
Thank you for the crisps too - you know (well, actually you don't/didn't, but that's just a turn of phrase;)) I was thinking about needing some crisps approximately a couple of days ago as we were :eek:down to our last pack of 15-pack McCoys. Threatening to run out with only 12 packs left:rotfl:.
I didn't pay much notice to these 14 pack Walkers, as I'm 'sure' (in other words 60%:)) there's been a downsizing on them - were 16 or 15, now 14. The 14 pack:( are on relatively poor offer in M and I was ignoring them as the pack sizes seemed so mean nowadays. Reduce them gradually from 18 to 15 to 14, then introduce a 'new' 20 pack at far expensive price, then downside that to 18 (without any correspondence price reduction of course). This is just the pattern folks - not an actual description of what has actually happened. With just 14 packs, seems extremely mean to me. However I think I'll accept vs £1 on them (and on the Quavers that gave another item). Many thanks:T:T:T.0 -
Whats the deal with the crips? Is it simply comparing at 1 pound a pack and giving 10p back i..e 90p per multipack?0

Yes that's what it means. But 90p for 14 seems 'reasonable'.
(The amount back, for the Walkers Classic - the Quavers are different price - is £2.97 to 90p i.e. £2.07 onto the voucher but, in effect, 90p a multipack.)0 -
the runner beans were in serious need of water...we have just run out of time to go to the allotment since Sunday...so its a mixed blessing that its raining.....but the onions look quite well established as they have been in quite a while now!
Raspberries are still going strong ...
OH is probably going to need to do some miricle planting as the allotment is soon due an annual "are you using it all " inspection...and TBH life was busy last year and we let it go a bit so we probably have no more chances before eviction!
You might find that you're ok- my council say that they want a minimum of 75% cultivated but I get longer to do it because of the state it was in when I got the key.
Given the mess it was in when I took over, and the way it is now, if they dare criticise it I will find out where they live
I've not even had it a month and the difference is amazing.
