I am bitten all over, arms and shoulders including 2 huge lumps on the backs of my legs that came up this afternoon - not even been gardening this afternoon.

I am going to try the anti histamines someone suggested yesterday but I might resort to a pain killer tonight - will ibubrofen do any good do you think or a paracemomol.

Tired my usual aloe vera on the affected areas but its not helped much, also ice cubes and OHs lidocaine cream

    (excuse spelling)

Well done Snap, another couple of weeks and you'll catch me up :D

We finally have rain, and it is decent rain meaning I don't have to water tonight :T

MHOC....an anti histamine should take away the itch...so you might find that you dont need anything else pain relief wise...

take them for a couple of days or until they start to crust over...

BTW ...I'm not giving medical advice...just saying what has worked for me in the past....hope thats ok with anyone medical or moderating

Apart from that a good day - what have you all been up to?

We have done the 260 mile round trip to see youngest sons new house - also taking them the vacuum and 3 boxes of assorted cleaners and toiletries

Also stopped at tebay en route for our bacon butties and we found the most gorgeous sparrows who would eat bread out of our hand and we were feeding them tiny bits of bread on the wing mirrors of the car - beyond cute.

Then we had dinner in Ikea before getting embroiled in the usual nighmare of M6 traffic, coming off the motorway to find a closed road and ending up doing a 50 mile round trip detour

I am willing to try anything now, quite desperate, never usually bitten this bad although one year a wrist bite turned my arm into a rubber ball :D

If youve not been in the garden...could you have been bitten by fleas from the carpets in the new house....just a thought...even if son doesnt have pets it doesnt mean a previous occupant didnt and they can be dormant for quite a time...we had a real problem when we moved into this house...once we started bringing things in they just seemed to decend on us!

Glad the rest of the day was good!

Which one is missing please as it would appear to be a trigger ... or are there no other items in the 2 for £1.50 so of no use to us (as your other items have come back NA - is that the same for all stores?).

    Many thanks

There are no other items in the promotion. On a.com just shows 3 bleach. The one not showing is lemon
