All my toms are still green sal:o

Just been googling cucumber pickle recipes. I'm going to have so many coming all at once:)

Have you tried making bread and butter pickles? They're a bit sweeter than a normal pickle and very yummy.

No ripe tomatoes here yet. They still look more like little peas at the moment. We have had two cucumbers though - we grow the mini ones and just have one plant, which we find plenty for the two of us. Strawberries all but finished now, bar a couple of stragglers.

Hope you didn't plant mint straight into the garden :eek::eek: If you did go and dig it back up and put it in a plant pot, if you want you can put the plant pot in the garden. If you plant mint straight in the garden in spreads like wildfire and you will be forever pulling it out.

We've only just started picking out raspberries, but think we are going to be picking them for a while :D

I deliberatly encourage mine to spread, have it everywhere, all along the fences, paths and chicken pens lots of different types, i think its nice and love the smell, also helps keep the weeds down, same with fennel and chives keep dividing it down and spreading it around.

So I've been given free reign to make a cake for a 12 year old this Friday/Saturday, only specification 'boys birthday theme'. My question to you lovely lot is, what the hell do 12 year olds like nowadays? I asked my step nephew and he was too moody to answer my question, even when bribed with a delicious malteasers bar, the little git :)

    Hi All
Been meaning to ask for ages, but kept forgetting!! Remember the Bodyshop glitch from May, the one with the LYB cards and the little bottles of perfume oil?? Did you get your LYB cards, BS seem to be ignoring my emails and phone calls!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure my LYB cards came pretty quick that glitch. I will have a look in the morning see if date on the envelopes.

I apologise for being lazy and not searching for them tonight. :o
