Also I found this morning that you can link your nectar points account to your ebay and someone use your points to pay for your ebay purchases.
I am not sure how this works exactly - wether its in blocks of 250 nectar points at a time - its £2.50 and multples in Argos.
Just thought it might be useful if you have oodles of nectar points and your paypal account is low - my pp is only funded by surveys and cashback and as mys are not playing ball and I've not done any ebaying for months the balance is not vast.
I was thinking that it might be useful if you were buying MOC bundles but the ligit ones are so few and far between on ebay now and the useful ones are over priced.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Of course, it is annoying but you pay up because you wouldn't dream of your kids missing out.
I do wonder about some of the costs of these things and how they arrive at the figures they do. This trip is to a discovery centre in Preston, so not far. The £20 is to cover the cost if the coach plus an instructor for the day. They are doing various outdoor team building activities.
There are 20 kids going. So is it really costing £400 for a short coach trip and an instructor.......who probably works there and gets paid anyway?
No point in moaning. We will always find the money and pay up for these things, and they know we will
At my kids primary school they always went on a 5 day residential trip at the end of year 6. Everyone went, think it cost about £250. I know one parent who said their DD couldn't go because they couldn't afford it. School stepped in and paid for the trip. Even gave the child pocket money to spend. Before the child had even gone on the trip, the mother had taken out a loan to buy a car for £3000. She never paid the school back. I was :mad:0 -

Thanks David. but I was too late today for this one. The couple of things me and DD1 actually use are OOS, in fact loads already OOS.
But will keep looking for them to come back in stock.0 -
Did a quick shop in T today, mostly for bananas. Found Bayer Garden path weedkiller rtc to £6.50 with a label on for £5 voucher back (T, S, few other places). (Needs receipt and postal application as well as online entry. One per address.) I needed some so got it but it may be worth watching this one in case they reduce it further.0
