Hope that isn't to grab your rear otherwise a certain DM may get jealous, as he normally follows you up the stairs.0 -

FC, I was going to comment about the angle of your sunflower pics, but I see Zippy beat me to it, but good to see you have had the tape measure out. A good size, but like Zippy, I think you have peaked too early, still lots of sunshine to get them taller if they have not flowered
Zippy, very impressed with your OH's flowers, I was sure they would not amount to much with them all being clumped together, and being in the pot for so long, how wrong I was.
I am thinking of getting a sunflower fancy dress outfit for my tomatos, as they are (or wear before I cut the tops off them) about a foot and a half taller than my darn sunflowers. But as I said, I am a grow'er, not a show'erand still plenty of time to grow yet. I might get round to posting a pic later.
Well make sure you re-post it after the watershed, as I am curious now.0 -

When I was last ill my daughter called the docs and harangued them until they gave me an appointment that day, turned out I had pneumonia and would have been in hospital if it had been left one more day. They wanted to give me an appointment for a week later first off
Yeah my GP and I do not have a good track record, they lost all my families notes, screwed up my uncle's death certificate delaying the funeral by a week, and told me that being on my 'lady time' for a year+ was normal  I've tried changing to a local GP (we were fobbed off onto this one when my GP retired) but they're full up apparently and I'm out of the catchment area by 2 roads for the one that has spaces, so I have to remain at mine which is 4 miles further out! So frustrated!'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

All I can say is good luck!
We have been at our practice for 29 years, when I went up there having been on my "lady time" for about 8 weeks they immediately booked me in with a gynaecologist! WE have the advantage that we can book with any doctor we want to in the practice. I hope you manage to get seen soon xxWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
