Nah didn't want to be banned over something that costs £10 for 20 refills worth and thats before I actually start looking to buy them cheaper

He's really having a bit of a rough time - I hope it doesn't upset him and put him off having the other eye done later . Hearing his hassle makes me realise how lucky DH and I were - both of us had both eyes done and had no trouble at all. DH sat on his assle fo the whole 4 weeks he was told to take it easy (typical man) whereas I staggered my activities and gradually eased back to normality after the first week or so. I was driving after the first 10 days.

His next op could go totally differently and be much easier all round.
