Enjoy your Friday's everyone. Leaving DD3 and Mr TS to their own devices I have a few jobs that need doing. :sighs:
FC are you fizzing tonight as I certainly am?0 -
I don't think this is the same situation - Scamps has got the correct vouchers and has used them compltely transparently and in accordance with the T&C's. It might be a little bit more stuff than most of us have done but its not glitchy and all it draws attention to is the very generous Sun/Morrisons promotion which only the likes of our crowd have had the sense to take full advantage of.
The huge glitchy shops you mentioned were different in that they did draw unwelcome attention to the glitch - which is the last thing any of us want ! Any moans are nothing to do with any didtinction between regular and newer posters. Thats my view anyway.I think some of thought that the huge apg shops might put the apg system in danger. This morries £5 is a totally different kettle of fish and everyone who can should hammer it.
IMO this is a glitch in the t&c's as it is per transaction. Going on the same basis as previous criticism, big multiple shops could highlight this fact and the staff could report this back to Head Office.
Then next time the vouchers come out with different t&c's ie 1 per person/household.
People were adhering to the t&c's of the APG. Doing there shop and not going over the £100 monthly limit.
Everything we do could have an adverse effect on future glitches/promotions etc and I firm believer people should do whatever they are comfortable with. My problem is people having a go at other people for it.0 -
You and me both, I have been known to get Mr TS rearranging furniture in the middle of the night to catch spiders.
And as for slugs, mhoc what were you thinking  those slimy things are escapologists they have to be dealt with there and then, says she who spent half hour capturing one the other night. :rotfl:
Many, many, many years ago we had a mouse get into the house (think it was a field mouse, it wasn't massive).
I remember there was 3 of us trying to catch this mouse at 1am, think it took us over an hour to catch it but I wouldn't go to bed until it was caught :rotfl:
Looking back it was hilarious, always reminds me of the film 'mousetrap' :rotfl:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

You must flour and cereal are the only things I am really careful about now, as they come with their own visitors. _pale_ Oats fair much better though it's usually wheat.
DD1 phoned Wednesday to tell me she had mites in her flour and what should she do.
She didn't have it contained in plastic containers so they got to the icing sugar and cereal boxes too.
I keep all my flour in the fridge.
People think I'm insane but we had weevils years ago in the flour so I used to keep it in the freezer.
It migrated to the fridge in the end as I figured it's still cold

If that happened to me I'd spend the entire morning tipping the house upside down trying to find where it'd gone.
I've been known to not sit still until that big spider I saw scurrying away out of the corner of my eye was up the vacuum cleaner
living with 3 cats a certain amount of wildlife does get into the house - fortunately hunting trophies are dumped on the patio but I am certain some slugs come in on the furry legs of cats.
Also as 2 of them are black cats we also keep an eye out for innocent white threads on the rear ends - then its time for the worming tablets.

Morning all.
I got a telling off at whoopsies last night
Had a handful of 5p yogurts in my basket (there was loads) and a woman said to me I'd never eat all them by the end of the day.
I said they'd be good till the end of the week and then I got a lecture about food poisoning
I don't think she appreciated me sniggering while she was talking because all I could think of was TS with her month out of date yogurt :rotfl:
Needless to say I've eaten one this morning and am showing no signs of keeling overMortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.0 -
