Just bought some asparagus and it says to trim the ends. Does that mean the top or the bottom ?

    Tia

I would have thought the bottoms as you eat the spears

How to draw attention to yourself in the most profound way possible:(. I noticed that Heinz Spaghetti Sausages were 50p:D on mysupermarket - and, indeed, on a.com. That's the best price I've ever seen on them and excellent - or so I thought - for using up some APGs.

So I got to the till, they were scanned through, didn't realise what price or otherwise they were going through at. I knew something was wrong when she wanted money from me. Turns out they are going through at 98p each:eek::(. Although there was a 50p SEL on others in the range, there was no SEL at all on these so couldn't claim £2 GC or anything. The APGs had already been scanned so SA had to call a supervisor over to cancel them off_pale_.

I might end up buying them in Sainsbobs (or even T:eek: - may be better in T actually as no mbuy at all in T). But I would then have to pay real money for them as unable to use the APGs. (But were they showing 50p on a.com at midnight this morning (the time when the BM data is collected)? They were 50p early this morning (5am) yet this is tomorrow's price online?:question:) Kipling cakes worked though - went through at 2 for £1.50:T - but then there was a SEL of 2 for £1.50 across several different ones. Perhaps should have bought Kip. Fruity Pie Selection as part of that, in an APG shop with other item cheaper in my target rival, as showing OOS on msm? This information already duly updated on the M list.

you're best to snap them where they naturally break if you know what i mean as the end can be very woody ;)
