ds2 has asked me to make some fruit leathers if I am getting lots of fruit, looks like I am going to be really busy tomorrow.

No, don't worry about it. I love seeing peoples shops etc

Buy as much as you are comfortable with and post the results as it inspires people to try things out that they may not have before.

yes just add a good squeeze of lemon juice and it will set fine,

Thanks, I knew the bag of lemons I bought would come in handy for more than just lemon cake :D

They remind me of those chewy fruit wheel things my friend used to eat as a teenager, it's a kind of hard, tough sheet (hence 'leather') which sets so that you can tear off pieces. It's just another form of preserving really, if jams and chutneys aren't your thing, or if you've got loads already!

Has anyone bought any of the bagged salad with the voucher???

    Thankyou :)

Coupon scans against anything, so up to each store/each SA what they will allow. If redeeming against anything other than fruit and veg, strongly recommend going via manned till.

Like wendyak, I was told that staff had been instructed to accept the mocs as long as at leat one item of f & v purchased.

Important question for anyone looking to do preserving: where's the cheapest place to buy sugar? I never bother with fancy preserving sugar and I've never had a problem, but all sugar is fairly expensive and I'd like to get as close to free jam as possible! :D
