    Run and hide David!

A while ago I emptied my handbag and realised I had a massive pair of scissors in the bottom, they had been there about 6 months... I had been through the court security each week during the period... thank god I was not caught!

    :D:D:D:D:D

We flew up to Scotland a couple of weeks ago. When we got there DH discovered a large screwdriver in his hand luggage  He'd been assembling boxes for collecting unwanted football kits at work and forgotten it was there. We couldn't believe security didn't pick it up.

Things like potatoes and parsnips roast well and freeze perfectly but I wouldn't dream of filling up my freezer with them. Cheap as chips:rotfl:

    With the morries offer...
I par cook potatoes and freeze them in family size portions which works well. Pretty sure that works for all root vegetables too.
Broccoli and cauli can be blanched (par cooked) and frozen too.
As for fruit, bit trickier but berries can usually be frozen. Not strawberries unless you'll only use them for smoothies.
I have also frozen apples but only after cooking them. So good for apple sauce or for something like crumble. (I peel, core and chop 4 or 5, then add tablespoon of water, put in glass lidded dish in microwave for 5 mins. Makes them a little soft but not too mushy. If regular eating apples I wouldn't add sugar but does make it extra yummy.)

Also, looking at link someone else posted, it looks like offer is only valid tomorrow and Friday. :/
