I can't imagine any of the dresses have actually ever been on sale for their RRP but I could be wrong.0 -
Could do with a bit of advice on late holidays. Only just got my act together to send off for new passport mine expired years ago so have had to find all my old paperwork including the bloomin passport.
Anyhow, DD2 wants to go away with me and DD3 and I didn't realise DD2 goes back to uni 27th August. If the passport returns successfully in the 6 weeks it's meant to has anyone ever managed to book any last minute deals for August?

We booked to Cuba about 4 days before we went, but that was the end of September. We went online and grabbed it as soon as we saw it, surely there must be cancellations in August, kids get ill like anyone. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I hope so, reckon we will only be booking few days before. Not being expert at online booking (not been abroad since 1990 ) I was wondering if I might get a better deal going into a travel agent when I'm ready.0 -

I've usually had better last-minute deals through visiting a travel agent, a few days before - "I've got a week's holiday from Saturday, where can you send me?", that kind of thing.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

evening all hope everyone one is well,
missed a bit as had a bit of a funny turn at my daughters turns out my blood levels have dropped again have had anemia for a while but getting worse despite being on iron..so having to have more tests done and rest
but on the good side dd2 has enough baby clothes from tesco to last for 6 months:j thanks to an elite angel. she told me of as she wont let me help her is very independent, but when i told her most of it was free she was:D and gave me a huge hug and said to say thanks to the elite as it means so much to her :j
i gave her some rockys and she said she had to pay so I opened the packs emptied half and said you cant pay me for free things:rotfl: so thanks to the op who mentioned looking for the half price and 100% extra free ones.
finally ds3 did his and ds2 pudding earlier while i was resting, came through with scones with cream and jam, and said these scones have gone of they taste funny.
not of says I just cheesy :rotfl::rotfl:0
