Well- when my friend gets back from her hols she's having Mamma cat neutered and giving three of the kitties up for adoption. She's going to keep Mamma and one of the babies. It'll be a long process getting them comfortable around people. I think she's very brave to take it on.
They're gorgeous little cats but so scared I wouldn't know where to begin. At the minute they can tolerate me being nearish when I bring them food and treats but get scared when I'm standing up or if I move towards them.
Mamma cat miaows for food which I'm taking as a good sign but flinches when you try and pet her because she has no experience of it. Definitely not my easiest cat sitting experience but as long as they're comfortable and fed that's the main thing.Debt free 6th December 2014

She also has a great sense of humour, and is very compassionate (not to mention extremely organised):D

Yes Bertie, Treacle & Minstrel good memory! And my naughty kitten Charlie, well he's one now but still flings himself up the net curtain on a daily basis :eek::eek:Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be

I understand eeemap.
I have some experience with feral cats...we inherited some....if you can say that...when we moved to this house. Fiercely independent, super intelligent and instinctive. Very rewarding getting to know them:TTo do is to be. Rousseau

TIA
I don't know if anyone has already answered this as I am miles behind and trying to catch up.However, I accidentally bought a Fruit and Nut Toblerone a couple of days ago (I didn't notice there was one F&N mixed in with the three ordinary milk chocolate ones I picked up). The Fruit and Nut one came up as n/a to Waitrose
(£2.50 compared to Tosca) whereas all my chocolate ones compared to Waities 75p. :j

If you are interested in the food bank you could see if there is one in your area to volunteer at and if not I could pass your details on to my friend if you wanted to set one up.

I will find out if there is one in my area
Maybe TM will
If not I will get back to you and
Your friend may be able to point me in the right direction

The net is more of a lacy effect now, wasn't originally! Was ok when he was small but he's 4.5 kg now  the big chunkerso it's Russian Roulette whether the curtain survives much longer but I don't fancy it's chances!
