Make sure you have loads of room at the top of the pan, it needs to boil properly and you won't be able to let it boil properly if it is more than one third full! Maximum fill of half if you have to.

Good luck, would hate to make jam in a normal sized saucepan!

Before it started to boil it was probably just over 1/3 up the pan, definately not over half :)

On a different note, my scales were left on top of the hob (electric oven) and I managed to turn the wrong dial at one point and didn't notice :o
Scales still work but are in a right state underneath (they're digital) :o oops!
    Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
    Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
    Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Hope the house valuation went well?
OOOO thanks strawberry jam, fingers crossed:D

    Morning!
    Not working today?
It went as well as we could expect I think.
Sale value is a few k under what we'd ideally hope for so after speaking to the agent we'll look to go on the market in September.
Will give us a chance to sort mortgage offers out and finish decorating the house :)
