I used to love it too; I can still remember the characters' names - Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry ... and the opening theme tune "Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry, the two most successful outlaws in the history of the west. And in all the trains and banks they robbed, they never shot anyone..."

It all started for me when someone told me that, so I checked a few crisp packets, but didn't believe that it was every crisp packet, so I got in touch with Seabrooks (true story, on some pretext about researching a TV documentary I think, can't remember what story I made up:o), spoke to the PR lady there, she wasn't sure, so she asked the Seabrooks production manager, who confirmed that, yes, it was true; apparently, it originated when the stock change-over day for crisp retailers was a Saturday, and when sell-by dates were introduced, they just followed that tradition.'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Some people don't get bit. Does anybody get bit too much or too little? In which case what is your blood type? There are meant to be some blood types that mozzies don't bite as they allegedly find it repellant, but I don't remember which one it is!

I remember when the atkins diet was all the rage and some people said it seemed to stop them getting bitten by insects. Something to do with low carb changing how the blood smells to the insects and repelling them :eek:zippydooda wrote: »also read beer drinkers don't get bit either. (any alcohol I suppose)
Though if it's mosquitos, it's only the female ones that do the biting ... typical:rotfl:'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
