Being a bargain hunter is not without mishaps
I have just moved into a new build and am keen to personalise it with some painting
I was in B&Q tonight and saw that they have reduced all their fired earth paint by 50%
I scooped up - buying a couple of 2.5 litres pots of nice classy colours and another couple of bright feature wall colours to (750 ml) to complement them.
Unfortunately the big tins are emulsion and the 'feature walls tins' are eggshell
Have I made a terrible mistake? Will it look ok or will the two types of paint look ridiculous? I haven't had much decorating experience - but have now successfully painted a couple of walls - so was planning on going a bit more advanced with the feature walls - but now feel a bit a stupid.
Any advice? thanks

No idea.... I'm with you: paint's paint ... if it's cheap and seems a good idea, grab it and think later "what's this all about then?"0

Well I am sure I will find a use for it- but I just have a vision of a shiny wall and a chalky wall. Both in one room!0

My hubby always uses eggshell for the doors and skirting because it's not shiny like gloss. I think it's more hardwearing than emulsion and easier to clean.0
