Worcester Bosch combi boiler

I had the above boiler fitted nearly two years ago. I have the following two questions if someone knows the answers please.
1. Have just realised that in order for the warranty to be valid I need to have the boiler serviced every year. As nearly two years have now passed is it too late to have the one-year service done?
2. Do I have to use the same Worcester Bosch engineer that originally installed the boiler to do the servicing and to fix anything that goes wrong with the boiler during the warranty period (I think the warranty period is 7 years)? It's just that I didn't think he was a very helpful or friendly person.
Any advice would be appreciated.

You can use whom ever you like to service your boiler, it doesn't have to be the person who installed it, but they should be a qualified person obviously. I have a Worcester boiler too and as you say it says that it should be serviced every year to have the 5 year guarantee. I have always had mine serviced but when ever I have called Worcester out for problems they have never asked me for any proof that it has been serviced. If I were you I'd get it serviced now and then every year after and just chance that they never ask you for proof if anything does go wrong.0
