18 Yrs Old Finally!!! What are the advantages?

Basically, looking to get a credit card, are there any good deals out there for students? What shall I look out for? I wont be using it in stores or anything, most using it to buy from ebay and use it as backup. Something with a low interest charge? Maybe a 'freebie' when I sign up? Not much knowledge on all the deals out…

Following on from what CLAPTON mentioned,if you pay off your outstanding amount in full each month you will not be charged any interest(unless you start using for cash withdrawls)this effectively gives you upto 59 days(depending on the card company maybe as low as 55days) interest free on the items you have bought.If you don't pay in full you will always incur interest charges.

Previously known as Bokken,registered at MSE in Nov 04,computer glich deleted my access but it is fun building up my stars from scratch,again.:D
