Problems with First Utility

Following the newsletter recommendation in May I left EDF to
move to a cheaper tariff with First Utility.
BIG mistake.
First, because of a website glitch, they put me down for electricity only.I emailed them on the same day (23rd of May),
and only received a response today to contact them.
Phoned and eventually got a rep, explained situation only to be told they didnt know how long it would take for them to put me on dual tariff.I asked ,"are you talking days, weeks or months?". Reply,"no idea". Then asked to cancel with them, was told I was out of the cooling off period and would cost £30 exit fee.I asked to speak to a supervisor and phone was put down on me .
In addition , I cannot log on to my account, requested new passport, no email response.
Any advice on what to do next?
