Faulty Samsung Galaxy Tab from Argos

I bought a Galaxy Samsung Tab from Argos for my BF's birthday on 5th May. As it was his birthday while we were on holiday I gave it to him early so that he could set it up with music, games, books etc. On the plane home last Friday he went to use it and it won't work. It looks like there is a crack under the screen although the screen itself isn't cracked. Am I right in saying that if I go back to Argos I am entitled to an exchange?

I believe they can offer an exchange, refund or repair, an exchange isn't necessarily automatic.

They may need to inspect the damage first to make sure they do not consider it user damage.
