Hi emmaglet and fellow £10 a Dayers! :hello:

I've never tried this challenge before and part of me wanted to try and ease myself in with bidding £5/day (£155 for the month), however I have very recently had my hours at work cut in half this month, so I really need to motivate myself to find other ways to up my income so I shall bid for £10/a day please for the month of July! :)

Well done :) £20.26 so far haha getting lots of tips and ideas from folk on here. It's slow going but I guess it will be quicker to make it as time goes on and I keep at it?

Wow Scotty you're off to a flying start! We all need the encouragement of this thread, I've found that if I keep checking in my motivation goes up loads!!

I've just had another item paid for on ebay, £2.60 profit after fees/postage.

  • Hi can I join please? I'm a newbie but have read last months challenge and can't believe how well people do!

I've set myself a personal savings challenge which this would help greatly if I'm successful.

I have A LOT of stuff to get rid of and a few car boots lined up so going to be brave and try for £20 per day please

    Thank you

You'd be amazed at what sells, there's a whole thread dedicated to this topic called "Things you never thought you could sell" https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/343625

It's worth reading for the entertainment value alone!

Hi, I'd like to go for £10 a day please. I am so going to nail a car boot sale this month. I haven't done much in the last week or so and feel like I have spent far too much as well, it has just been so busy at work, all good though, this time next year Rodney. . .

Welcome to all the newbies, the people here are lovely and inspirational and all of that malarkey, and very wise and I can't give it up :) xxx

I may cheat a bit and put some small amounts from June on in July as I can't remember what I have added and what I haven't. Did I just say that out loud?

Good luck everyone, good luck newfoundscotty your thread on saving money really made me smile.
