Well - I have just spent a very boring morning tidying my desk (gets me in the right frame of mind) whilst completing my nectar adpoints - so another £1.25 added to the total.

    Hi All,
Sorry I hve disappeared so far this month but am doing surprisingly well.
I handle all the finances in our house and will ask my husband what this that and the other is for when money is withdrawn so I know where to get the money from to pay for it. He works from home and has dual screens so watches films while he works on Love Film or so ithought, turns out he had a free trial then cancelled 14 months ago and thy have charged us ever since! So we are in the process of claiming that back which will be £70.
I also complained to Premier Inn from a stay last month I forgot about as the heating system was stuck on roasting. They refunded us the £29 we paid plus another £29 :T:T.
My boy has sold some stuff but that is his money and I have grabbed some amazing bargains. I worked £30 worth of overtime and won £25 premium bonds so so far so good this month.
Well done to everyone else so far, I am half way through reading the thread and will read the rest later.
    May 2015 £10 a day currently £208

Woop! I hit my goal and then some after a final eBay sale. :)

Thanks guys... I'm so glad I saw this thread (still going to carry on even though I'm at target) as all this extra will go towards an overpayment on our mortgage!

Well done Sarah Jean - that's a fantastic achievement. Your also nearly halfway through the month but only a quarter through your grocery budget - fab!

eat some bananas, that will help you get some energy. but know what you mean about feeling tired and demotivated. am anaemic and it is easier for me not to take tablets and just feel tired all the time :o

I've got a B12 deficiency which is linked to a type of anaemia, am due an injection and after that hope to be much more energetic!

I am promising myself I will sort out some stuff this evening, for ebay and cash 4 clothes, I've done my first ms of the month today, that will be £9 at some point.

Alongside raising extra money, I'm enjoying discovering my frugal side, bought a pair of shoes at a charity shop today, it's just a shame my daughters are telling me they're the worst shoes they've ever seen and threatening to throw them away :)
  • Hi, I am extremely new to this but I'd like to join this. I was hoping to attempt to make £10 a day. I'm already on sites like swagbucks, opinion outpost, inboxpounds and I've sold a few things on music magpie. I've been doing it on my own and I've been sorta wanting to give up but this sorta thing seems like a boost to keep going. Would it be okay if I could sign up to make £10 a day?

Also is there any tips that anyone one could give me?

:hello: and welcome. Everyone is welcome to join at any time :)

Have a read of the first two posts, and read through the thread. That will give you some ideas. If you don't understand just ask. Good luck.

Theres a great new app around called Receet and all you have to do is upload your receipt from various merchants and get loyalty points. Its 5 points per £1 for red merchants, more if gold or silver. Ive uploaded a few I had lying around the house including Tesco, Esso garage, Coop ect and already im bordering on cashing out an Amazon voucher. :D
