Hey,
I'm looking at getting a 3x3 shed in my garden and ready-built they're a lot more expensive to buy then I thought..
Does anyone have any experience with building there own? Would you suggest it?
Thanks!

If you have some basic woodworking skills and a few tools, it's not hard to build a shed. Assuming you are confident re the above, the question I would ask is can I source the component parts for the shed for less than I can buy a ready made one? On the back of the winter storms, the price of fencing shot up - price may have settled down now (guess sheds made broadly speaking of the same kind of material suffered the same plight). If you can get the wood cheaply (skip finds for nothing??) go for it.0

Have a look on eBay, Gumtree etc for a second hand shed near where you live.
You might get lucky.
Here is a current list of second hand sheds on eBay.
Sort it by "Distance, nearest first".0 -
3x3, that's more like a cupboard than a shed. I've always liked building sheds. You don't really save much money, but you end up with a much better quality shed for the same money as getting one ready made and also, with a great deal of satisfaction.
No sure that it's a good idea if you have no knowledge of basic DIY.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
I'd go for the plastic ones. You can get them cheap from Argos clearance if you have any close by.SECRET OF SUCCESS IN LIFE:

I recently had a custom made shed by a company called http://www.uniquegardenbuildings.com/
I couldn't even buy the materials for the cost that they wanted, they even put it up for me too. for info my 14ft square shed coat £1300
I couldn't recommend them enough.
All 3x2 and 13mm tonged and groove, no particle board anywhere0 -
if you know anyone who works at a jail with a woodwork shop in it the cons can build you one. many jails sell to the public and you just pay for the wood.
had a couple built and there all 20mm with 18inch supports. much better than the plywood offerings at warehouse shops!0 -
Shed loads on ebay
