Best time to call Tax credits helpline

Arghh they are impossible to get hold of, i received my pack and renewed on line, that is fine. I do however need to speak to them as i want to change my back account.
I go through the whole crap of speaking, give all my details DOB etc etc etc to a recorded voice, only for them to say they are too busy and hang up...that is the worst part, why ask for all my details first
bloody place

A mate who works for HMRC passed me this:
"The best time to ring is between 8.30am and 10.30am – the busiest time is after 5pm. Mondays and Fridays are the busiest days."
Me, I was holding for a good 8 minutes at 8.45, but they got everything sorted in under 3 minutes thereafter.
