Hi Dumpyboy,

Companies certainly should not be recording new default dates on accounts.

So we can look into this and find out what has happened please email your details to UKSocialsupport@experian.com

Kind Regards
Neil

Had a post on the same theme had sainsbury re add a default again on my credit file 3 times have complained had it removed they mange to show it for six and half years next month January 2015 will be 8 years since 1 st missed payment how to get them to keep this off my credit file
• If it's a legitimate default it should drop off 6 years from the default date. Did they remove it because it was incorrect?
• It took them 20 months to register it went to fos over ppi and charges said it had to be dated September 2008 10 months after first missed payment got charges ppi and interst back roll forward 4 years they changed default date to 2009 complained had it put back to September 2008 come September they changed date complained got 150 pound next month new date default was 2014 complained got 200 pound removed again next month added with 2009 date complained removed got 150 can not believe they renewed it again in December I will complain again but seem pointless when all they do is remove it then put it straight back on
