Transferring a cash ISA
Shez2014

How would I transfer a maturing cash ISA to purchase a few investment trusts? I'm considering Scottish Mortgage, Schroeder UK Income plus a few more for around 5 years. Which platform would work?
Thanks for any help or suggestions for a novice.

You should identify the cheapest platform - now and in 5-10 years time - which does the funds you are intending to hold. Most of the major players offer the same range of funds, stocks and bonds, so your decision should boil down to what is the least expensive for the amount you invest and the trades you make. There's a spreadsheet somewhere on this forum which poster snowman compiled to help you with figuring out your best options.
All providers will have transfer-in forms to fill in for any transfer you wish to make from cash ISAs.0 -
There's a useful table in the Telegraph, too: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/investing/isas/10611058/Tables-cheapest-fund-supermarkets-for-Isa-investing.html0
