Gas supply to tenants

I own the leasehold to a flat that I rent to tenants, the freeholder has requested that the gas meters be moved, when investigated it was found that too much copper pipe has been used and that the installation no longer complies with regulations - the supply was subsequently cut off.
The flat is managed for my due to geographical distances, neither the agent or myself seem able to contact the freeholder to find out what is going on as he will not answer calls etc, as the landlord I am liable to my tenant for supply of gas, I have a very unhappy tenant that I seem unable to help - does the freeholder have any liability to me as the leaseholder? I have no idea when gas may be reconnected and could lose a very good tenant

provide them a hob and electric heater job sorted until you can resolveDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

All you have to supply is heating.
So give them some £30 electric heaters for now. I don't believe cooking equipment is your problem.0
