Growing for stir fry
I' m sick of Pak Choice bolting, had no joy for a couple of years now. The first year we grew them they we great! Any ideas for something easier? We have a stir fry twice a week in the summer with other home grown veg. I have spinach which I do use and Chard and Kale, but any other suggestions?
Thanks
Thanks

You need hard ground for brassicas, or bang down and dib the young plants in. I use spinach for salads too.
Broad bean tops, runner bean leaves, dandelions in season. Swede and turnip and radish tops.0 -

well I never knew you could eat runner bean leaves, learn something new every day, and I am over 70. Thanks
PS, guess you could add in young stinging nettle tops, beetroot leaves, Swiss chardNumerus non sum0 -
Thanks for the replies, we do use a lot of leaves but not runner bean, so that's a new one!0

Pea shoots taste exactly like freshly podded peas, very expensive in supermarkets, very ease and cheap to grow from dried peas.M.A.C.A.W member number 39

Mizuna, mibuna and mustards are all quick and easy, but to be honest, most oriental things bolt at this time of year and they're just easier than pak choi, which is a pest magnet of the highest order.0

Thanks again all.
We do use most of the items suggested, i was reminded yesterday that i didn't have any pea shoots on the go.
It was more about the pak choi bolting really & any suggestions for easier, non bolting oriental veg, but as Davesnave says i think all that type are bolty!
I'll go & get my pea shoots on. A few years ago I had sucsess with bean sprouts but recently no good.0
