Facebook/Twitter just for comps. Is it allowed?

Hi, I really need some advice.
I have a seperate FB and Twitter just for comps. Yesterday I found I had been named and shamed as a cheat on a comping FB group as I have 2 FB accounts. I never, ever enter comps twice. If I enter a comp on my personal FB page (usually local ones so I can share with local friends) I never enter it again on my comping FB.
This has led to people blocking and unfollowing me on both FB and Twitter and my Twitter account being reported for spam.
I really love this hobby. I am a genuine person and am I so upset this has happened. I have literally been in tears as I feel physically sick someone thinks I am a fake person!
Any advice? Is having seperate comp accounts so frowned upon by the comping community? I have no idea what to do now as I feel by real name is mud and that if I win a comp someone will report me for being a fake account.

I would explain yourself (as you have done here) on the forum.
I'm sure you aren't the only one who has competition facebook IDs.UEFA: Corrupting Football Since 1954 #CTID0 -
You are only supposed to have one FB account. It is against FB rules.
You can have multiple accounts on twitter. But it can make people think you are cheating even if you're not.
It's really best just to have one of each and build up a circle of comping followers.
If you've not done anything wrong then most people will see that.
There are some compers who spend more time trying to 'out' people than they do entering comps.
Thanks to those that post the comps!!

Thank you. I can't explain myself as I was discussed in a secret FB group for naming and shaming cheats that I am not a member of. All very cloak and dagger! Scared me a bit to be honest. My name then started being discussed on a comping friends wall. As soon as I posted she deleted me! Another comper then messaged me saying my name was being discussed in this group and advised me to deactivate my comping account, which I did.0

I can't really do many FB comps on my personal account as I just get complaints. May just have to give up FB comping!
So I can have 2 Twitter accounts? Started comping on my personal Twitter today and lost 3 followers already. People get so annoyed by it. Thats why I loved having the seperate accoutns with compers. Like minded people who dont mind seeing comp after comp.0 -
Much as I'd like it not to be, it's true you can't have separate FB accounts, even if you keep ALL comping off your personal one.
I had my Grannybiker FB shut without warning a couple of years ago now- no right to appeal either  !
I now have all my comping friends in a group and only share comps with them. Unfortunately a fair bit of comping leaks onto my friends' newsfeeds and has irritated some less tolerant friends, (:p Who then tell me how lucky I am if I win... :rotfl:)Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0 -

I used to do that, just share with a compers list on my FB, but someone told me if they arent public shares they dont count. Thats when I opened a new comping only FB.
Is that not the case then? Can I just share with compers? Would make my life a whole lot easier and no accusations of being a cheat!0 -
As the lovely grannybiker says above, you can only have the one FB account

I've made sure to advise my friends how to remove my comping posts from their feed, if they don't like seeing them. Generally they're a pretty tolerant lot and sometimes they even join in and start comping

Facebook comps seem to be the spawn of the devil and do cause a lot of problems. I never know whether to enter them or not as I am worried about being annoying and I also like my settings set to private so that students can't find me easily. I am sorry you have had such an upsetting experience."'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life

anyone that says you cant have a seperate one is wrong
anyone that says FB ban you is wrong
i've yet to be banned and set one up the other week as proof that it can be done - just set your posts to public and post inane drivel occasionally
just create more email addresses than names that you need0 -
Companies shouldn't ask you to share a post/picture/page to enter a competition as it is against FB T&C's
