Hi kayleigh, my wife and I were in an iva from 09 till 14, it is hard work and budgeting can be a night mare. 1 bit of advice I have, do you have access to online banking? Is so try opening a couple of savings accounts and use them to put your allowances for car maintenance, car tax and your contingency money in, they won't affect you iva if they don't get to high, if you can't use a bank, try a post office saving account. It's what we had to do to keep our money separate.

And as others have said, speak to your ip about a review if you are struggling, it's in their own interests to help you as if your iva fails they don't get paid fully so they will do what they can help!

    Good luck
