New forum design

Horredous new design. Far too much white space on the page, which makes it ironic that it is unreadable or difficult to find buttons.

Absolutely hideous new design - I hate it. Far too much white space, hard to navigate and the OP at the top of each page - v annoying!

I was going to ask "what new design?" Until I saw an earlier post about log in/out.
I logged out and logged straight back in again, it's awful. how much has someone been paid to design that? I'd be asking for a refund.
Please MSE keep the original format and do not force that abomination on us.

Can someone email a link of this thread to the forum feedback email please? Just in case they aren't reading it and don't see our comments. I'd do it myself but it was going to send it from the email I've got set up on this PC which I don't want.

To be fair, at least they are trialing it rather than forcing it on us without any say.

I suspect the update is to allow more functionality and therefore a move on to a new platform (i mean more functionality behind the scenes).

It is awful. I would seriously consider no longer being part of the forums because of it - I have a visual condition and cannot physically see the new forum because of the lack of colour. Thank god it goes back to normal when you log in.

Logged in and it's back to the old design, thank goodness. Please, put it back the way it was!

I'm always logged in using Safari but googled something before in Chrome...horrible! Much prefer this layout. I agree it ain't as clear.

Terrible- what are they thinking!
It's like reading Samuel Pepys diary( actually I've never read it but I imagine it might look like this).

I just can't be bothered to read any more.
