Any sewing machine people here?

in In my home (includes DIY) MoneySaving
I have an industrial sewing machine with a stitch problem. I can only sew a very very tiny stitch - altering stitching knob makes no difference. Any ideas please?

    Has something broken so that, when you turn the stitching knob, nothing is actually happening?

    Does the turning action feel different, with less resistance than before?
