Another vote for Cumbrian Cottages. We've used them many times and always found their properties to be accurately described, no surprises

No, but, as is the case here, if I had used someone for a long period of time and found their service levels to be of a good standard relative to my expectations then I would feel confident in recommending.
Anyway, slightly more on topic, we stayed in a place called the Old Vicarage in Naddle just outside Keswick last year and it was decent, though in terms of the original poster not level access so probably not suitable.0
