Section 75 for bad hotel??

We booked a room through Britannia Hotels for one of their hotels in Scarborough. It was for 2 nights costs £120. We paid using our American Express Card. When we checked in the place was absolutely filthy, stains everywhere etc etc....! The hotel staff were very rude and unhelpful and in the end we checked out after only a couple of hours. The last thing the hotel said was that we weren't getting a refund. I have since emailed Britannia hotels and no response. Can I make a claim under Section 75??
