Fascia and Soffit Replacement

Am in the process of negotiating price on a a cottage I am buying and the surveyors report identified that fascias/soffits on the flat roof annexe were decaying. We had noticed this already.
The fascias are mainly in white uPVC, partly in painted plywood. The soffits are also partly in painted timber, partly in white uPVC
The recommendation is:
"Remove decayed timber to annexe fascias and overclad with uPVC to match remainder of annex; overclad annex soffits with uPVC (Note: The current soffit boarding may contain asbestos)."
Is there a 'general rule of thumb' for costing such work? A typical n£'s per metre?

Area will probably affect things.
I had my 2 fascias, 2 drainpipes and 2 sets of guttering replaced about 8 years ago for £300. Other quotes were around double that.0 -
Depends on where you live, how easy access is round the house (i.e. whether you need full scaffolding or not), brand of products used, whether you overclad or replace (replacement is better), what type of ventilation you have (hidden is more expensive) etc. - so for a white finish you could be looking at anything around £50-100 per m.0

The annexe is single storey. Flat roofed.
The property is in Carmarthen Wales.
The overall amount of fascia/soffit is 20m
Removal of old rotten wooden fascia and replacing with pvc.
No scaffolding required.0 -
Just make sure it's all done properly. Previous owner of our house had this done and the cladding means that its impossible to open any of the top floor windows on one side of the house any more than a crack.
Apparently they were happy with that?Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
Savings target June 18 - £22,281.99 / £25,0000 -

Is it just fascias or soffits as well? We had quotes for our flat roof garage of around £300-350 for about 10m, but that was for replacement fascias (it doesn't have any soffits) and guttering down one side with connection to downpipe.0 -
