I have a interpet pump in my fish tank. I was wondering about those stones that are in there, similar to large pieces of macaroni.
How often do the need to be replaced? and where can I buy them.

you don't need to replace them, they don't wear out! i had them in one off my pond filter/pumps and they were still as good as new when the pump finally packed up!0
