its hard going ... but ive been 'careful' and savvy since my first son was born 5 years ago but ive never saved enough in an emergency fund for those unexpected expenses etc. so we have been in and out of debt mainly in a small amount of debt for the last 3 years. and now im on the road to my second debt free challenge but this time hope to save up enough for emergencies so we don't get back into debt.
had an eye test today ... ive got to wear glasses all the time now ... rather than some of the time. got some nice glasses to pick up next week though ... which was another expense but had the spare cash in the bank so didn't have to put it on the credit card like I would of done in the past.
thank you for all your support so farplease say hi if your reading ... I don't bite
take care all. have a great weekend

Hiya, just had a quick read. You're doing really well. Maybe you should think about reducing what you're aiming for in Christmas savings given that you already have a clatter of things bought in the sale.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. hi everyone. wow i just realised i havent posted for nearly a month. alot has changed . our debt is more i think due to unexpexted expenses which included dp's motorbike (which he needs to get to college) needing some expensive repairs .... its just becoming a nightmare.... i try and live as frugal as possible and yet we are still struggling.
i will update on the debt later,
