so here is a quick summary

    budgeted for this week :

    £30 other

    spends so far :
food and formula £45.31 (this included £21 of formula) underbudget
other £30.93p (the 93p was posting a parcel covered by the buyer but keeping track of all spends to counting it to stop confusion for myself) overbudget (not counting posting ebay item I am on budget)

total debt paid off so far this the start of my diary £221/720 PM aim :D
made £1.50 after fees selling :)

other than when partner goes fishing there should be no other spends this week so hopefully I will come in under budget overall ... my new week will start Sunday :)
    xmas £53.82/£500
    holiday £140/£600 emergency1 0/£1000

    house fund £50000 + £10,000 fees + £10000 renovations
    emergency2 £5000

  • partner spent £15 altogether fishing

I have managed to get a present for one of the parties that DS1 is going to in july for £1.99 instead of £27.99 I also brought one for ds1 for xmas but wont be counting that in this weeks budget as it will come out of my xmas fund

so that's £16.99 to add to this weeks expenses
plus £3.99 for my next delivery (total was £64.99) but with vouchers money off codes etc. I paid £3.99

I also have £19.99 worth of stuff from new look that I need to collect from my local store for £0 (not sure if I have already mentioned this)

the last 2 weeks I have brought £230.05p of stuff all brand new from retailers for £33.35p that's 14.5%

so that's £20.98 to add to my expenses ... don't need anything the rest of this week

so my total on sunday should be the same as today

budget for the week : £100
spent so far including posting parcel £97.22
    xmas £53.82/£500
    holiday £140/£600 emergency1 0/£1000

    Great planning ahead!

Are you managing to avoid popping in to the shop on the school run? Think you mentioned that as a goal. It's surprising how the small spends add !

    Well done so far!

  • hi thankyou for your replies .... yes have been avoiding the shops on the school run and the ice cream van so far ds1 has had icecream from home instead :)

I broght the bargains managed to put aside £60 into xmas savings at the beginning of the week the whole lot came to £53.82 instead of £416.70p but this will not be coming out of this weeks budget it will come out of the xmas and birthdays account
they are not all for my sons some are presents for parties my son gets invited to from school

my partner spent £21 last night on food and pop non of it was essential but he thought we deserved a treat :/ ... we never go out so I suppose it would work out too a few drinks in the pub if we did ... so I am over budget this week ... but have no more expenses until the bills next Tuesday and my internet login details have came so im going to sort out the accounts and make another payment to the credit card tonight ....
