Imagine if I (or anyone here) bit a work colleague. I think we'd be looking at more than a 4 month ban from the workplace.

I appreciate that Liverpool won't sack him; he's worth a lot of money; maybe £60 to £80 million so it's stupid to do that. Perhaps selling him now is the best option.

I do feel sorry for Liverpool too; he was not in Liverpool's charge when this happened and they are hit with the lengthier punishment. And yes, it's wrong that Liverpool should have to pay him whilst he can't work. All in all, Liverpool are the ones getting the biggest punishment and that is wrong.

If he's banned for 4 months he should be banned with no pay.

Interesting point to note. Next time you watch Suarez play (and yeah, that's a long time off), just watch him if he makes a mistake or gets frustrated with himself. More often than not he bites his own hand in frustration. So clearly 'biting' is his way of venting his frustrations. Not that I am excusing him for biting other players but adds a bit of understanding to it.

Uruguay will blame anyone and threaten to boycott as without suarez there are really crap.
And he should have got a 2 year ban, i feel sorry for the liverpool fans who had stuck by him, it shows a lack of respect.

The Evra affair was handled badly by Liverpool, so I have little sympathy for them. they knew what they were taking on when they bought him and will get good money for him.
