Dont know what it covers, but assuming it is on a car you are buying, I'd get them to include as much warranty as possible without paying for an extension, which I'm guessing this is.
If you want to buy a warranty, try http://www.warrantydirect.co.uk

Wise move. Put the £250 in a savings account and when you do need some work doing you have some money ready to go.0

I am possibly one in a million here, but bought a car from EH about 6 years ago, had it about 6 months and it developed a problem with the thermostat - common problem on the vauxhall Z16xe engines - they really over cool! Anyway, got myself all psyched up ready for the fight, took it in and they said "Leave it with us for the morning, come back later and we will have it sorted". did it under warranty, no fight or anything - to be honest I am still driving the car now having done about another 70,000 miles. probably just luck on my part, but it has to be one of the best cars I have ever had for reliability and economy (2002 plate 1.6 zafira). And no, I am absolutely nothing to do with EH or the car industry in any way!
Would definitely use EH again in the future0 -

Following from my above comments, I am sure they threw in the 1yr warranty - I don't think I would have paid extra for it - but it was a good few years back0
